Twitter Users can Remove Followers Quietly

Twitter is rolling out a new feature that will allow users to remove their followers very quietly without knowing them.

This feature will be safe for those people who want to avoid any kind of consequences after blocking someone. If the blocked or removed person directs through the user’s profile then Twitter will let them know that they were blocked or removed. This way the users will feel more secure about who can see their profile without letting them know they were blocked or removed.

Once you block someone from your follower list then that person will not receive any notification. If the person notices that they are no longer on your follower list, then they might even think that they have clicked unfollow button accidentally.

The users can block someone from their follower list in two ways. Firstly they have to manually scroll down through their follower list and they have to find the person they want to remove. Secondly now users can block any person by going to their profile. Once you open the person’s profile you want to block, then just click on three dots, and select the “Remove this follower” option.

Along with this, Twitter has also tested a new feature that would allow users to swipe on their timeline between two different feeds. One timeline feed would be sorted by the Twitter algorithm and another timeline feed would be sorted by chronological.
