Pfizer CEO Expected Normal Life by 2022

Pfizer CEO, Albert Bourla says in an interview that life in the developed countries would reoccurrence to the normal by 2021

He further stated that life and business across the world would resume back by the end of 2022

He also mentioned that by the end of next year there would be enough COVID vaccine doses for most of the countries worldwide.

Pfizer and BioN Tech so far have manufactured the 1 billion dosed of COVID vaccine and both the companies are expecting to produce 3 billion doses by the end of this year.

The Pfizer COVID vaccine has helped to cut down the spread of new infections in the US. As a result, many states in the United States begin to lift the COVID restrictions. Mask wearing is no longer as strict as previously.  Travel restriction has also been more lenient now.

The leaders from across the world are requesting the US to donate the leftover shots of the COVID vaccine

Pfizer and BioNTech, both companies have promised to provide 2 billion doses of the vaccine to low- and middle-income countries across the world

Albert Bourla added that Pfizer has contracts with more than 120 countries around the globe for providing the COVID vaccine

However, most of the shots have been given to the developed countries as they have placed the orders for the shorts in advance

Bourla further added that more COVID vaccines to go toward poorer countries n the second half of this year.
