Ford has launched its electric crate motor, the F-100 Eluminator based on the GT version of the Mustang Mach-E.
The electric truck features the 1978 F-100 pickups with electric batteries and motors from the Ford’s 2021 Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition. Its internal screens and controls also look like the Mach-E electric crossover.
The automaker as built up this vehicle to exhibit its new e-crate motor, which is now available for sale online and at its dealerships. These types of crate motors or engines are accumulated by the automaker itself but they are now available for general buying for fixing, building, and also for customizing the vehicles.
The custom F-100 Eluminator electric pickup will also deliver some publicity for Ford, as it arranges to launch its electric F-150 Lighting pickup during the first quarter of 2022. The electric pickup can create 480 horsepower and 634 foot-pounds of torque.
F-100 Eluminator electric pickup was created and designed by Ford Performance and built-in collaboration with aftermarket companies including Roadster Shop and MLe Racecars.
According to Ford, the e-crate motors create 317 foot-pounds of torque and 281 horsepower, and it is also legal to drive on the street of all 50 states. The Ford has launched the F-100 Eluminator in Las Vegas for SEMA Show. SEMA Show is a yearly conference for aftermarket industries and the automotive specialty.
Ford said that the retail price of the F-100 Eluminator will be $3900.
